Calming Tea - Wellness Campaign

The next tea from this series I have been trying is the Calming Tea...

It smelled...AMAZING and guess what? It tasted...AMAZING
Honestly, probably the nicest twist to green tea I have ever tasted

It has a very flowery aroma, and had a lovely sweet taste; but I could still taste the edge of floweryness (I know, floweryness isn't a word....) But it had a fantastic harmony of sweetness and flowery...You get the point!
It almost tasted of a very mild Lavender tea that just crept up after the spicy, sweet kick!

So, I know your dying to know what it's made from

Green Tea: Renowned for it's calming nature of the body and the mind, some studies have found that it is an amino acid found in the leaves called L-Theanine which cause a number of chemical reactions allowing us to feel...Serenity
Hathawariya...Hathawhat?:  Known as a Medicinal plant. Alongside many health claims and benefits, One important in this tea, is it's effect on the Nervous System, which is a similar way in which green tea allows us to feel calm; Also the roots are known to taste sweet...The sweet kick!
Lemongrass: This gives it a sweet edge with a little tang. From a Holistic guide....a very popular product used in spas and as essential oils; well known for its calming effects on the body.
Cardamon: Savoury touch, and also a slight spiciness and leaves you with a cosy and warm feeling; relaxing you immediately
Ginger: The spicy kick I told you about!....And has a calming affect on the GI system ..good for stomach upsets and indigestion

I am noticing a pattern with this series of Teas....They don't just benefit one area of the body, they work all over and work well!

Don't forget...These Teas are available for only £1 a cup throughout Tea Monkey stores!
