A short post!
Something a little different
Something a little different
I received an Email giving me a heads up that Rara.com are issuing a 7 day free trial...until the 31st of January
The Email was titled "Could Beethoven Be The Key To Keeping Fitness Resolutions?" I was like...Huh?
But a Huh?! as in....Tell me more!
Rara have been working with a lead Neuro Scientist (Dr. Jack Lewis) Researching how music impacts our work outs before you have even started! And apparently Classical Music can help us burn those Calories!
What an unusual concept, I had to go on to the Rara website.
The playlist is pretty Bizarre ..But In a very good way! It ranges from Tinie Tempah to Beethoven, but it totally works. Upbeat Rudemental, to the calming sounds of Symphony Number 4!
Image from google
The specially developed Playlist is called 'Ergogenic Fitness Playlist'
Here is a snippet of the press release:
"Could Beethoven Be The Key To Keeping Fitness Resolutions?
....
London, 17th January 2013: Gym-goers stand a better chance of reaching their fitness goals by applying science to their workout playlists, says a leading neuroscientist.
Getting in shape is one of the most popular new year’s resolutions, but only 12% will actually achieve their aims*. To help reach those goals, music streaming site rara.com has partnered with Dr. Jack Lewis Ph.D. to consult on how music can actually affect the brain and assist in realising get-fit plans."
But here is the link
You need to listen to it for yourself...I have been sat on my Bum listening to it...but I have been bopping and chair dancing...That's kind of working out isn't it?
