Food for My Mood- Part 2

I Don't know whether it is just me (which it probably is) But brekkie is the best meal of the day. Its all about Breaking the Fast....get it....

So what should I eat to get me in the mood for the rest of my day.....

 
The first meal of the day is the meal which has the longest time to be 'burnt' off through your daily routine; hence the saying Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a prince, and Dinner like a pauper.....
Which is generally saying, eat your biggest meal in the morning, which should be about 25% of your daily calorie intake...which seems an awful lot! but it really isn't which I just demonstrated to my Mother, who said 'I don't have time to eat a massive breakfast!!'
 
Although this is true, it doesn't mean chomping on a full English every morning because you need loads of calories to get you going, not something as heavy and greasy as a fry up, this can make you feel sluggish and bloated; its about having the balance. Eat Carbs (Bread/Cereals etc), Dairy and some Fruit to get your started....some protein wouldn't go amiss; This will provide you with a really healthy variety of your required Vitamins! and give you a lovely bit of energy to get you going; and if your off to work, you may need it......
 

Here are some ideas which aren't as boring as you may picture a 'healthy' breakfast!

 
Good old....Grill up! Much healthier than a fry up and probably tastier....
 
Peanut butter on toast...But of good fat and pretty tasty!

But i'm not going to bore you with showing you fancy photos of healthy breakfast ideas, try some out; a good breakfast is fantastic fuel for the rest of your day.
